Hi, my name is Kate, and I'm a domestic wannabe. Actually, I'm a new SAHM (new to the staying at home part at least). When my husband and I decided I would stay home, I thought I would be able to lie around the house, watch tv, and eat bonbons on the couch all day. Yeah right! I work best when I'm busy. I can't sit still. So, instead of indulging in the previously mentioned, I decided to delve into as many hobbies as possible. I started baking and quickly realize I could make a little bit of change doing it for others. Those plans are still in the works, and I'm sure I'll mention it more soon! ;) I've also started sewing again. I haven't been doing it for long, so we'll see how that turns out! My husband recently bought me a Nikon D100. I know nothing about photography, but I would really love to learn to take decent pictures. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
I'm hoping to use this blog as motivation to finish the projects I start and maybe even take on some new ones. I plan to document recipes, projects, and anything else I find worth blogging about. I look forward to meeting new and interesting people and sharing the ups and down of my domestic life!
